And one of my friends makes a killer watercress salad with pears, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese. Gee, I'm making myself hungry and I had a huge dinner already. We have friends who have a beautiful little stream on their property where watercress grows wild. I'm going to ask for permission to harvest some (in the spring - it's 28 degrees here right now!) and I'll promise our friends some of Nadine's watercress soup. Yummm. can't wait!
